Grades 6 and 7 have finished and presented their website evaluations. Grade 7 had the following recommendations:
- Fox News as a source for updated information and happenings in Massachusetts and particularly Boston.
- Glogster. com a great resource for preparing projects and creating blog type pages with graphics. Sign up is free for limited access.
- HowToLearn.com offers advice on colleges, mini algebra lessons and student coaching. It was awarded the best educational website of 2012.
- Ecogeek is a website that educates and explores the symbiosis between nature and technology.
- Videojug a website and YouTube channel from the U.K. has subjects you can choose from.
- Discovery Education a useful site that gives kids knowledge of various things; information that can be used to do homework and encourages kids to learn.
- Fact Monster, although this site gave helpful tips for homework and projects the students found the information dated.
- FreeRice a site gives students an extra reason to learn by helping to end hunger. It was suggested that the questions should be more difficult to accommodate older students.
- Howstuffworks was found to be informative on how technology equipment is made, works and more. But is was suggested that the site be more interactive.
- BBC website has news, history and some educational games. However, information regarding the author and last update to the site was not readily available.
- NIH (National Institute of Health) is a website regarding the organization itself and some of its discoveries. There are little to no ads and it is fast to navigate.
- NASA.gov (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) this site has information on the government agency as well as atmospheric conditions and videos on previous missions. You can also see live feeds from the rovers.
- NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) this is a government funded system that studies the atmosphere and the oceans.
- Realidades it the middle school interactive website. Students can use this site to get help with Spanish work. Other subjects are also available through phschool.com
- PBS kids this is a great website for younger kids to progress in their learning. It is based on many PBS educational shows. It is updated daily and makes learning fun for kids

- NewKadia.com as a fun site for comic books
- Discoverykids.org
- Sites NOT recommended are Ben'sGuide and Starfall.
